Through our partner, DOCIAsport, Switch the Play Foundation can provide comprehensive Mental Health First Aid courses.
The Mental Health England Mental Health First Aid course teaches people how to identify, understand and help someone who may be experiencing a mental health issue. You will learn how to listen, reassure and respond to prevent and manage crises. The course will provide you with the skills, knowledge and experience to recognise the signs of mental ill health and empower people to seek the support they need.
Switch the Play Foundation and DOCIAsport are committed to applying a duty of care to all those we work with. Ian Braid, the DOCIAsport Managing Director is a qualified Mental Health First Aid (England) instructor and runs the course.
This course can be delivered online or face-to-face in 4x half-day sessions. The cost of the course is £300.00 per person. You can read what others have said about the course delivered by Ian below.
DOCIAsport will provide Adult Mental Health First Aid Provision Courses online for between 7 – 15 delegates.
